Arthur is a member of the Investment Committee and serves as Westfield’s Economist. Additionally, he manages All Cap Select and Balanced portfolios for legacy clients, many of whom have been with Westfield since Arthur joined the firm in 1990. Arthur is the former Chairman and CEO of Westfield.
Prior to Westfield, Arthur was the Managing Partner and ran the Boston office of Loomis Sayles. Before that, he worked with Westfield’s founder, Mike Hazard, at White Weld & Co. Earlier, he was Senior Fund Manager at Unified Funds. He started his career as a Trust Investment Officer at First National Bank of Niles, Michigan. Arthur is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Investment Counselor.
After earning his Bachelor of Arts at Murray State University and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, Arthur served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
Arthur is very active at his alma mater, Murray State University, where he is the Chairman of Trustees of the MSU Foundation. He is a Director and Former President of the Boston Economic Club, and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
A very proud father and grandfather, Arthur is married to an artist, and enjoys golf, scuba, chamber music and studying economic history.
